A juíza Janaína Araújo de Carvalho decretou, na manhã desta segunda-feira, 13, a prisão do motorista que atropelou quatro pessoas em frente ao Shopping da Ilha, em São Luís, na noite desse domingo, 12.
De acordo com a sentença, o advogado foi identificado como Romualdo José de Carvalho Nogueira Filho.
Romualdo José foi enquadrado no Artigo 303 do Código de Trânsito Brasileiro, que responsabiliza o motorista de veículo automotor de lesão corporal culposa, ou seja, quando não há a intenção de provocar as lesões.
Romualdo Nogueira Filho se recusou a fazer o teste de bafômetro, após o acidente, e optou por ficar em silêncio na delegacia.
VÍTIMAS
Uma das quatro vítimas, Cintya Fernanda dos Santos Mondego, de 40 anos, está internada em estado grave no Socorrão II, com fratura exposta na perna após o acidente, e risco de perda de mobilidade.
Uma colombiana 35 anos teve lesões leves no quadril, enquanto outra mulher sofreu um corte na coxa esquerda e lesão na cabeça. Já uma jovem de 19 anos teve apenas escoriações pelo corpo.
