Gabriel Pereira Dantas se entregou à Polícia Civil

 A Polícia Civil de São Paulo anunciou a prisão de mais um suspeito de envolvimento no assassinato do indigenista Bruno Pereira e do jornalista britânico Dom Philips. Trata-se de Gabriel Pereira Dantas, que se apresentou espontaneamente a policiais no centro da capital paulista, por volta das 6h desta quinta-feira (23).

“A versão desta pessoa tem fundamento. Ele realmente é de Manaus. Relata com muita riqueza de detalhes o que fez durante o período em Atalaia do Norte. E ele relata que acompanhou esse indivíduo, chamado Pelado, e participou dos atos que culminaram na morte dessas duas pessoas”, declarou o delegado Roberto Monteiro, da Delegacia Seccional do Centro.

Pelado é o apelido de Amarildo da Costa Oliveira, que está preso desde o dia 7 de junho por envolvimento no duplo homicídio. Ele confessou participação no caso e levou os policiais até o local onde os corpos de Bruno e Dom foram enterrados. Além de Pelado, estão presos no Amazonas Jefferson da Silva Lima e Oseney da Costa de Oliveira, conhecido como Dos Santos.

Ainda segundo o delegado, o suspeito que se entregou à Polícia havia fugido do Amazonas e passado pelo estado do Pará e Mato Grosso, até finalmente chegar a São Paulo. A prisão foi informada à Polícia Federal (PF), que está à frente das investigações. O suspeito permanecerá detido e um pedido de prisão já foi formulado à Justiça. A PF ainda não atualizou novas informações sobre o caso, incluindo a detenção deste outro suspeito. Ao todo, os investigadores apuram a participação de oito pessoas no crime.

Nesta quarta-feira (22), a PF informou que os exames periciais realizados nos remanescentes humanos de Bruno e Dom foram concluídos, com a confirmação da identificação de ambos. O trabalho foi feito no Instituto Nacional de Criminalística, em Brasília. À tarde, os corpos foram enviados de avião da capital federal para serem entregues às famílias.

Ainda segundo a PF, o trabalhos dos peritos do Instituto Nacional de Criminalística continuarão nos próximos dias concentrados na análise de vestígios diversos do caso.
