Um acidente de trânsito registrado no fim da noite desse domingo, 10, na Avenida dos Franceses, no bairro Alemanha, em São Luís, resultou na prisão de um idoso por embriaguez ao volante.
A Polícia Militar informou que o idoso, que não teve o nome divulgado, transitava pela avendida, por volta das 23h, quando colidiu em outro veículo.
Uma equipe da PM atendeu à ocorrência e tomou as medidas de praxe, no entanto, o idoso se recusou a fazer o teste do bafômetro e foi autuado em flagrante por embriaguez ao volante.
Foi arbitrada a fiança no valor de R$ 1.200, mas ele também se negou a pagar, e então foi conduzido, já na manhã desta segunda-feira, 11, para a Central de Presos de Custódia.
