Nicarágua fecha espaço democrático e cívico 

O secretário-geral da ONU, António Guterres, está “muito preocupado” com ações recentes contra organizações da sociedade civil incluindo da Igreja Católica, na Nicarágua. O anúncio foi feito pelo vice-porta-voz do secretário-geral, Farhan Haq.

Ele citou o fechamento severo do espaço democrático e cívico na Nicarágua incluindo de entidades da Igreja Católica. O porta-voz falou da batida policial à residência do bispo de Matagalpa, e que esse tipo de incidente só aumenta as preocupações.
