Grave acidente ocorrido nessa segunda-feira, 15, na BR-101, em trecho da cidade de Nova Viçosa, no extremo sul da Bahia, resultou na morte de um pastor de uma igreja evangélica e a esposa dele, após colisão entre o carro em que eles estavam e um caminhão de carga.
A Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) de Eunápolis informou que o motorista do caminhão não ficou ferido. A dinâmica do acidente não foi informada.
As vítimas foram identificadas como William Borges, de 28 anos e Adriana Borges, que tinha 27. Eles eram casados, tinham uma filha e moravam em São Gabriel da Palha, no Espírito Santo. O casal era membro da Igreja Adventistas Capixabas.
Os corpos forfam liberados na tarde dessa segunda-feira do Instituto Médico Legal (IML) de Teixeira de Freitas e encaminhados para Recife, onde acontecerá o sepultamento.
