O grupo Mateus negocia a compra de lojas do Big, que o Carrefour precisa se desfazer por uma determinação do Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica (Cade). A informação é do Valor Econômico. O grupo chileno Cencosud também analisaram parte das unidades — são 14 à venda no total, numa operação que pode girar em torno de R$ 500 milhões e R$ 600 milhões, dizem fontes.

Duas unidades já estão praticamente vendidas — uma em Gravataí (RS) para a rede gaúcha Asun Supermercados, e outra em Olinda (PE), já negociada com o Mateus (a antiga loja do Big Bompreço Olinda).

Há outros sete pontos sendo analisados, pelo menos, pelo Mateus.

“Eles estão negociando outras sete lojas, mas ainda não chegaram a um consenso sobre valor”, diz uma fonte a par das negociações. O Bradesco BBI está com o mandato de venda. As outras unidades alvo do Mateus estão em Pernambuco, Alagoas e na Bahia (eram antigas unidades do Big Bompreço e do Maxxi Atacado).

Duas fontes ouvidas estimam, com base na lista de ativos à venda, que são pontos que valem entre R$ 35 milhões e R$ 45 milhões — ainda seria preciso investir uma soma a mais na reformas das unidades, e o custo é maior se migrar lojas do hipermercado Big para loja de atacado.

Procurado, o Carrefour informa que “por ora, que não há nada a mais para acrescentar, além das informações que já foram publicadas pelo Cade”.

O Grupo Mateus prefere não se manifestar neste momento. O Cencosud também não comentou.
