A taxa de juros, conhecida como SELIC, e que é a referência para operações de crédito no Brasil aumentou de menos de 3% ao ano, em 2021, para 13,75%, agora em 2022. Claro que o consumidor é o mais afetado, pois financiar um carro está muito mais caro. A taxa média anual mais a incidência de IOF está, em muitos casos, passando de 30% ao ano e neste cenário o carro por assinatura tornou-se uma opção vantajosa.
De acordo com o histórico das taxas de juros fixadas pelo Copom e evolução da taxa Selic, o atual índice de 13,75% foi registrado apenas em novembro de 2016 – no qual a taxa já entrava na curva de queda, registrando em setembro de 2020, 2%. No entanto, para conter a inflação auferida nos últimos meses, o Banco Central vem promovendo ajustes na Selic, o que inviabiliza quem busca linhas de crédito – como financiamento de veículos – pois as taxas ficaram mais elevadas.
O governo federal anunciou, no final de julho, o aumento do desconto no Imposto Sobre Produtos Industrializados (IPI), com o abatimento nos preços dos veículos 0km, de 18,5% para 24,75%. Segundo especialistas do setor, na prática, a redução no valor final não deve passar de 1%, e que, provavelmente, algumas montadoras nem repassem esse desconto ao consumidor final, porque devem absorver para melhorar seus resultados.
A aquisição do carro só está compensando caso o comprador tenha o recurso integral para pagamento à vista – ainda assim deve ser analisado cada caso. O financiamento ficou inviável se comparado ao carro por assinatura. Além do custo mencionado acima de mais de 30% ao ano, ainda há o pagamento do IPVA de 4% ao ano – pegando como exemplo o estado de São Paulo – mais seguro, na média de 5% ao ano. Só estas duas despesas representam, em média, 0,75% ao mês, ou seja, é possível encontrar a grande maioria dos carros por assinatura por valores inferiores a estes mensais.
Se somente o juros do financiamento, IPVA e Seguro já compensam a assinatura ao invés da aquisição, somam-se a isso todos os outros benefícios inclusos como manutenção , documentação, depreciação, carro reserva e não ter de se preocupar com mais nada. É agendar a entrega do seu carro novo e já sair dirigindo. Além disso, o recurso destinado ao pagamento do financiamento pode ser aplicado e ainda render mensalmente.
As locadoras que oferecem carros por assinatura não sofrem este efeito de juros altos como os consumidores individuais, uma vez que são empresas de grande porte com acesso ao mercado de capitais e custo de captação muito menores. Somado a isso, os benefícios de compra de carro e fiscais, as condições ofertadas ficam muito mais baratas. Este é o melhor momento que já existiu para assinar e poder andar de carro novo.
