O Partido Democrático Brasileiro (PDT) formalizou nesta terça-feira (04) o apoio à candidatura de Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) no segundo turno das eleições presidenciais. A decisão foi aprovada por unanimidade pela direção nacional do PDT.
No vídeo em que declarou que segue orientação do partido, Ciro Gomes, que foi candidato à Presidência sequer cita o nome do ex-presidente:

O anúncio do apoio a Lula foi feito pelo presidente nacional do partido, Carlos Lupi, após reunião da Executiva Nacional do partido no final da manhã desta terça-feira.
“Tomamos uma decisão unânime. Apoiaremos o mais próximo da gente, que é a candidatura do Lula. Eu chamo de 12 + 1”, afirmou Lupi durante o anúncio.
Segundo Lupi, o apoio foi endossado integralmente por Ciro Gomes, que foi o candidato do PDT no primeiro turno das eleições para a Presidência da República e ficou em quarto lugar na disputa.
Em entrevista à imprensa, o presidente do PDT informou que o PT se comprometeu a incluir no plano de governo de Lula os projetos de renda mínima, de renegociação de dívida e de escolas de ensino integral.
Lupi informou também que o partido vai sugerir ao PT a criação de um Código Brasileiro de Trabalho, para rever normas aprovadas possam ter provocado prejuízos aos trabalhadores do país.
Na segunda-feira (03), Lula já havia recebido a declaração de apoio do presidente do Cidadania, Roberto Freire, mas falta a oficialização partidária. No primeiro turno, o Cidadania compôs a aliança partidária com o MDB e PSDB com a candidatura da senadora Simone Tebet (MDB).
