Corinthians e Flamengo iniciam a disputa da final da Copa do Brasil nesta Quarta-feira (12/10) dia de feriado nacional e com perspectiva de casa cheia na Arena do Timão. O clube paulista chegou à final de forma inacreditável, com grandes atuações e não era um dos favoritos ao título desta Copa. Já o Flamengo sim, um dos grandes favoritos, conseguiu derrubar um Atlético-MG e chegou até aqui com uma campanha irretocável. Apenas uma derrota, contra o rival mineiro, até então.

Nas semi, o Timão eliminou o Fluminense, time de Diniz e o Mengão, tirou o seu futuro rival na final da Libertadores, o Athético Paranaense.

Apesar da grande fase do Corinthians, o Flamengo ainda é o grande favorito nas casas de apostas. Apesar do favoritismo nas casas de apostas, o palpite é pelo empate. Como os times chegam à final?

Corinthians

Durante a maior parte de sua campanha de 2022 na Copa do Brasil, o Corinthians precisou de um desempenho convincente na etapa decisiva. O time foi avassalador, após empatar no Maracanã com o Fluzão e vencer o time do Rio por um esmagador 3×0.

Esta foi a terceira vez na competição este ano que os comandados de Vitor Pereira se viram em condição desfavorável (empate ou derrota) no primeiro jogo e tiveram que reverter o placar.  A abordagem progressiva e ofensiva do treinador português gerou algumas vaias no início do trabalho, mas permitiu que este grupo criasse muitas chances de gol, marcando 16 vezes nesta competição e 38 vezes em casa em todas as competições. Um ataque com grande desempenho.

O Corinthians só conseguiu marcar uma vez nos últimos cinco jogos contra o Mengão, quando um gol contra de Rodinei permitiu que o time da casa triunfasse no início desta temporada.

Flamengo

Giorgian De Arrascaeta, que é o atual artilheiro do Flamengo na competição, com três gols tem na história um grande feito. Foi ele quem marcou o gol da vitória de seu ex-time Cruzeiro, ao derrotar o Corinthians na final de 2018. Recordar é viver.

Já Bruno Henrique tem seis gols na temporada pelo Flamengo contra o Corinthians e Gabigol tem três, enquanto Pedro marcou a última vez que esses times se enfrentaram em agosto, ajudando seu time a vencer por 1 a 0 na partida de volta da Copa Libertadores.

O Flamengo vem de vitória no Brasileirão, contra o Cuiabá, mesmo jogando com time alternativo.

 

Prováveis escalações

Ruan Oliveira não estará disponível para o Corinthians por causa de uma lesão no ligamento cruzado anterior, enquanto Pereira fez uma mudança em seu 11 inicial da primeira para a segunda contra o Fluminense, com Gustavo Silva substituindo Adson no confronto decisivo.

Pelo lado do Flamengo, Rodrigo Caio continua de fora por causa de um problema no joelho, enquanto Erick Pulgar está lidando com uma lesão no tornozelo que deve mantê-lo fora de campo até o final de outubro.
