CAMPEONATO PIAUIENSE 2023

O Campeonato Piauiense de 2022 ganha nova fórmula e terá início no dia 15 de janeiro. Os clubes já aprovaram o regulamento do estadual do próximo ano e a final está marcada para o dia 3 de abril com jogos ao vivo.

A nova fórmula de disputa para a competição em 2022 foi aprovada por representantes dos oito clubes do Campeonato Piauiense. O campeonato voltará a ter semifinais, com duelos de ida e volta. A primeira rodada será no fim de semana dos dias 15 e 16 de janeiro, totalizando 18 datas.

O modelo de disputa foi acertado pelos times, durante uma reunião na sede da Federação de Futebol do Piauí (FFP). Estavam presentes na ocasião os dirigentes do Altos, Fluminense-PI, 4 de Julho, Flamengo-PI, River-PI, Oeirense e Corisabbá. Já o Parnahyba não teve representantes no arbitral.

A FFP usou como argumento para a volta das semifinais no Piauiense uma possibilidade que foi apresentada pela CBF na apresentação do calendário 2022. A CBF que é a entidade máxima do futebol brasileiro recomendou que os campeonatos estaduais tivessem 16 datas, com início no dia 16 de janeiro. Contudo, deixou a opção às federações para o começo no dia 15 de janeiro.

Com isso, o Campeonato Piauiense acabou ganhando mais duas datas, pois optou por começar mais cedo. Porém, é importante lembrar que o campeonato não poderá ultrapassar o primeiro fim de semana de abril, que é quando começam as Séries C e D do Brasileirão, que contará com alguns times do Piauí, tais como: Altos, na terceira divisão; Fluminense-PI e 4 de Julho, na quarta divisão.

TRANSMISSÕES

Em reunião na sede da TV Cidade Verde, na manhã de hoje (18) foi confirmada a renovação do contrato da emissora para a transmissão do Campeonato Piauiense de Futebol Profissional 2023. Pelo terceiro ano consecutivo o Grupo Cidade Verde será a casa dos jogos do estado, com a intenção de aproximar cada vez mais o torcedor do futebol local.

“Campeonato Piauiense que está se mostrando cada vez mais emocionante, qualificado e melhor. O futebol piauiense nunca tinha vivido momentos tão importantes com times na Série C, agendas nacionais com Copa do Nordeste, Copa do Brasil, Brasileiro Série D então a TV Cidade Verde acreditando no futebol piauiense se junta a esse momento”, afirmou Joelson Giordani, diretor de jornalismo da TV Cidade Verde. 

No encontro, na manhã desta sexta-feira (18) estiveram presentes o presidente da Federação de Futebol, Robert Brown, e representantes de dois dos oito clubes que irão disputar o Piauiense em 2023.

“A gente renova por mais dois anos. Temos uma relação muito boa com a TV Cidade Verde que foi a primeira a nos abrir essas portas. Acho nada mais do que justo que a gente continue essa parceria”, declarou Robert Brown. 

O presidente do Altos, Warton Lacerda, também fez questão de frisar o peso e importância da TV Cidade Verde em melhorar o produto que é o Campeonato Piauiense. “É importantíssimo. O nosso futebol precisa ser mostrado. O trabalho que a TV Cidade Verde tem feito nesses últimos dois anos, em que eu dei exemplos aqui hoje que fico em casa quando o Altos não está jogando para assistir os jogos. Então eu elogiei diretamente o Doutor Jesus por acreditar” pontuou Warton Lacerda.

O Piauiense 2023 terá oito clubes na briga por título e distribui as vagas nacionais. A competição inicia no dia 11 de janeiro e tem previsão de encerrar dia 8 de abril. Em 2022, tivemos uma grande final proporcionada graças ao Fluminense x Parnahyba, em que o Vaqueiro se tornou campeão e a expectativa é em uma competição de nível ainda mais alto para o próximo ano.
