A CCR Aeroportos está realizando uma série de obras para melhorias no Aeroporto Internacional de São Luís (SLZ). Como administradora do aeroporto desde março de 2022, a empresa está empenhada em aprimorar as instalações, criar uma melhor infraestrutura para o desenvolvimento econômico do Maranhão e oferecer uma melhor experiência de viagem aos passageiros.
As intervenções estruturais previstas são as seguintes:

- Adequação das RESAs (áreas de escape) à legislação vigente;
– Remoção de obstáculos na faixa preparada; - Adequação de sinalização do pátio para 9 posições C;
- Descomissionamento da PPD auxiliar;
- Reforma e ampliação do terminal de passageiros.

A obra tem o objetivo de aumentar a segurança operacional, otimizar a capacidade de atendimento de aeronaves e proporcionar um ambiente mais confortável e moderno para os passageiros.
O investimento total para essas obras está estimado em R$ 117 milhões. Além disso, esse projeto contribuirá significativamente para a economia local, gerando mais de 180 empregos diretos durante a fase de construção.
A expectativa é concluir esta série de melhorias no aeroporto até o final de 2024. Durante todo o período de obras, a CCR Aeroportos se empenhará para minimizar os transtornos aos passageiros e manterá uma comunicação transparente sobre o andamento dos trabalhos.
“O Estado do Maranhão desempenha um papel importante na conectividade aérea do país, servindo como um elo entre as regiões Nordeste e Norte em nossa rede de transporte aéreo. As melhorias planejadas para o Aeroporto de São Luís não apenas aprimorarão a infraestrutura e a capacidade do terminal, mas também fortalecerão nossa posição como um parceiro confiável para o desenvolvimento econômico e turístico da região”, diz o CEO da CCR Aeroportos, Fabio Russo.
Melhorias em 15 aeroportos – Além do Aeroporto de São Luís, a CCR Aeroportos realiza, de forma simultânea, obras de melhorias na infraestrutura em outros 14 aeroportos que estão sob sua administração no Brasil: Goiânia (GYN), Imperatriz (IMP), Teresina (THE), Petrolina (PNZ), Palmas (PMW), Curitiba (CWB), Foz do Iguaçu (IGU), Londrina (LDB), Bacacheri (BFH), Navegantes (VNT), Joinville (JOI), Bagé (BGX), Pelotas (PET) e Uruguaiana (URG). A empresa contratada para executar os serviços é a HTB Engenharia e Construção. A previsão é que as obras em todos estes aeroportos sejam concluídas até o final de 2024. O investimento total é de R$ 1,8 bilhão. Cerca de 2,3 mil empregos diretos serão gerados.
