Medidas anticarros vêm-se expandindo de forma irracional

A Grã-Bretanha tem grande tradição na difusão do automóvel como meio de transporte, mas no começo de sua história o cenário era completamente oposto. Foi lá que surgiu, em 1862, a Lei da Bandeira Vermelha. Os primeiros arremedos de veículos autopropelidos só podiam ser circulares precedidos de um homem a pé com a sinalização da bandeira (algumas fontes dizem que também soprando uma corneta). Isso não mudou nem a partir de 1886 com o primeiro carro, um triciclo, patenteado por Karl Benz na Alemanha. A lei citada só foi revogada em 1896.

Chegando a 2023, avançando em todo o Reino Unido a introdução de zonas onde o limite de velocidade é de 20 milhas/hora (32 km/h). Isso ocorre em bairros de baixo tráfego, mas de forma excessiva. Por isso, o primeiro-ministro britânico, Rishi Sunak, defendeu um freio para a expansão desenfreada dessas zonas em clara abertura para conquistar votos de eleitores.

Segundo a revista Autocar, o Automóvel Clube Real (RAC, na sigla em inglês) defendeu o limite de 32 km/h onde este é mais necessário. Porém, ressalvou que a implantação generalizada pode prolongar desnecessariamente os tempos de viagem, desacelerar o tráfego e até aumentar os congestionamentos.

Estas medidas anticarros, de fato, vêm-se expandindo de forma irracional. Por exemplo em São Paulo, onde o limite de 50 km/h está praticamente em toda a cidade, salvo as vias expressas marginais (90 km/h). Mesmo nas avenidas o limite anterior de 70 km/h foi revogado. Nos municípios vizinhos a velocidade permitida nas avenidas é de 60 km/he nem por isso há mais acidentes.

No entanto, os motoristas paulistanos (e de outras procedências) foram surpreendidos por zonas de 40 km/h que surgem do nada e sinalizadas por placas que podem passar despercebidas. Será que quem cuida do trânsito no País poderia seguir os ingleses e adotar medidas mais racionais e menos exageradas?

Fenabrave revisão para cima as vendas em 2023

Os bons resultados de vendas no mês de setembro nos segmentos de veículos leves e pesados ​​levaram a Fenabrave a revisão para cima suas variações para o fechamento deste ano: crescimento de 5,6% sobre os números de 2022. No início do ano a federação das consultorias se mostraram cautelosas e estimativas de crescimento zero em 2023. Em razão de menos dias úteis em setembro antes de agosto, as vendas chegaram a cair 4,8%, mas a média diária cresceu para 9.372 unidades, um bom resultado.

De acordo com José Andreta Jr, presidente da Fenabrave, este ano deve fechar com cerca de 2,2 milhões de unidades comercializadas. O único segmento a se retroceder será o de caminhões em função do aumento de preços nos novos motores Diesel, agora menos poluentes. A entidade sugeriu ao Governo Federal que um corte nos impostos não teria reflexo na arrecadação tributária, pois o mercado é bastante sensível a uma queda de preços e consequente avanço no marketing, como demonstrado em meados deste ano.

A Bright Consulting também melhorou a sua projeção para 2023. A consultoria foca somente em automóveis e comerciais leves, tendo revisado para cima seus números: de 2,069 milhões de unidades para 2,125 milhões. Para o chefe executivo da empresa, Paulo Cardamone, o ritmo de emplacamentos não deverá atrasar nos próximos meses.

Outra referência positiva é no mercado de veículos usados. Segundo a Fenauto, o volume comercializado nos nove primeiros meses deste ano cresceu 8,8% em ocorrência ao mesmo período de 2022.

Metas para fabricação de energia elétrica não serão alcançadas

Já faz tempo que defende uma previsão cautelosa sobre o avanço global dos carros elétricos. Não há dúvida de que o boato está certo, porém o ritmo é incerto. Uma pesquisa mundial que acaba de ser revelada pela Automotive Manufacturing Solutions e pela ABB Robotics apontou: metas obrigatórias de abandono total da produção de veículos com motores a combustão, a partir de 2035, não são viáveis.

Foram ouvidos cerca de 600 entrevistados ao redor do mundo entre fabricantes de veículos e de componentes, empresas de engenharia de ponta e especialistas em vários níveis de gerenciamento. Quase 60% dos entrevistados destacaram as maiores dificuldades: investimentos muito altos para a transição, deficiência de materiais primários, organização da cadeia de suprimentos para baterias, infraestrutura de recarga a ampliar e capacidade insuficiente da rede elétrica em muitas das instalações atuais.

Muitos dos que responderam também chamaram a atenção para o elevado preço dos veículos elétricos e a necessidade de aumentar ainda mais capilaridade e potência dos carregadores públicos ou privados.

Deve-se notar que outras dificuldades ainda estão por serem resolvidas em alta escala, como desmonte e reciclagem das baterias, além de programação da chamada segunda vida. Fora tudo isso, dois terços da energia elétrica gerada hoje no mundo resultam de fontes fósseis que emitem CO 2 responsável pela temperatura do planeta.

Sinal verde para BYD: Ford entrega fábrica ao governo baiano

Nos próximos dias o presidente mundial da BYD, Wang Chuanfu, chegará a Salvador (BA) para sacramentar o grupo das instalações da Ford em Camaçari (BA). A marca do oval azul concluiu agora em 4 de outubro o acerto de contas com o governo da Bahia. No fundo, como havia comentado antes, a geopolítica influenciou essas negociações que se arrastaram desde 2022. Outra fábrica da empresa americana, na Europa, não foi vendida à BYD.

A marca chinesa continua a ampliar sua oferta no Brasil. Na segunda quinzena deste mês começam as entregas do Dolphin Plus que se diferenciam da versão já lançada baseada em um novo motor elétrico de 204 cv e 31,6 kgf·m, além do teto pintado de preto, novas rodas de 17 pol. e teto solar panorâmico. Com toda essa potência o hatch é bem mais rápido com aceleração de 0 a 100 km/h em 7 s (o modelo básico em 10,9 s).

O escopo do padrão WLTP foi apenas esclarecido, mas o que vale mesmo é a homologação pelo Inmetro ainda não divulgada. O preço de R$ 179.880 é cerca de 20% maior do que a versão de entrada.

A empresa considera simples “boato” a intenção do Governo Federal de começar a cobrar imposto de importação (II), provavelmente em três etapas anuais, sobre elétricos e híbridos plugáveis. O mais estranho é que importar com alíquota zero, em geral, fica mais barato do que produzir localmente. Ainda assim a BYD é a favor de manter o estímulo atual à importação.

A produção em Camaçari traz no último trimestre de 2024 sem informação sobre qual modelo. Tudo indica o Dolphin, mas também poderá ser o Seagull, subcompacto que chega importado no primeiro trimestre do próximo ano por preço estimado entre R$ 110.000 e R$ 130.000.
