O Brasil não está sozinho nessa restrição
A chamada “Lei Seca”, que reduziu a praticamente nada a quantidade de bebida alcoólica que pode ser ingerida, antes de o motorista assumir o volante, completou 15 anos em junho último e os resultados apareceram na forma de diminuição do número de acidentes fatais.
O Brasil não está sozinho nessa restrição. Entres os países com maior índice de motorização o Japão é um exemplo. Mas há outros, sem contar aqueles que já proíbem por motivos religiosos: Eslováquia, Hungria, Marrocos, República Tcheca, Romênia, Paraguai e Uruguai. No entanto, os demais países toleram diferentes índices de alcoolemia.
O Observatório Nacional de Segurança Veicular organizou um webinar sobre o assunto, no final de novembro. Entre as propostas apresentadas está a de transformar em crime continuar conduzindo com a habilitação suspensa ou cassada ao ser reprovado no teste do bafômetro ou etilômetro.
As infrações anotadas, a partir de 2017, por quem rejeita a se submeter ao etilômetro já somam 1,5 milhão, superando em 50% aquelas pela reprovação por meio deste aparelho. Isso ocorre porque o artigo 165-A do CTB reconhece indiretamente que ninguém é obrigado a produzir provas contra si mesmo, estabelecendo apenas uma pesada multa adicional em razão da recusa.
Trata-se de um ponto polêmico, pois em outros países as punições levam até à prisão em flagrante para quem passa dos limites de alcoolemia estabelecidos por lei.
Também se discutiu a pouca efetividade das fiscalizações no interior dos Estados, hoje concentradas nas capitais. Um levantamento da Secretaria Nacional de Trânsito reforça que as infrações por alcoolemia são em maior número às sextas-feiras (13,6%), sábados (27,7%) e domingos (30,6%). A maior parte (70%) ocorre entre 18h e 6h, com um pico entre 23h e meia-noite.
Espaçoso Citroën C3 Aircross oferece 5 e 7 lugares
Em um mercado com grande oferta de SUVs no segmento B a Citroën precisava inovar. Na faixa de compactos a opção de sete lugares é inédita e o único concorrente indireto, o monovolume Spin, tem distância entre eixos menor (2.620 mm contra 2.675 mm do modelo francês). O C3 Aircross exibe um visual moderno com destaque para as lanternas traseiras, um perfil arrojado e rodas de 16 ou 17 pol.
O espaço interno o coloca no mesmo nível dos principais concorrentes graças ao generoso entre-eixos, embora a vantagem para o Duster, por exemplo, seja de ínfimos 2 mm. Em relação ao C3 os 63 mm a mais na largura garantem conforto para cinco ocupantes, inclusive nas dimensões de acesso ao banco traseiro. A terceira fileira proporciona espaço razoável somente para crianças na faixa de até 12 anos.
Porta-malas de 493 litros é o maior do segmento (Duster, 473 litros), mas sobram apenas 40 litros se houver sete ocupantes. Os dois bancos da terceira fila são fáceis de retirar e relativamente leves. Destaque para o sistema de climatização no teto para os cinco passageiros que sentam atrás. A versão de sete lugares atrasou e só estará disponível em meados do primeiro trimestre de 2024.
No interior o acabamento é um pouco melhor que o C3, volante continua sem regulagem em distância e interruptores dos vidros permanecem estranhamente no console. Bem adequados ao projeto são o motor 1-litro turbo, 125 cv (G)/130 cv (E), 20,4 kgf·m e o câmbio automático CVT de sete marchas.
Durante a avaliação na Praia do Forte, a 60 km de Salvador (BA), o C3 Aircross mostrou bom comportamento direcional, além de estabilidade e freios dentro da média do segmento que tem nada menos de 15 competidores, incluindo pseudo-SUVs.
Preços: R$ 109.990 a 129.990. Versões de sete lugares deverão acrescentar de R$ 8.000 a R$ 10.000.
Renault amplia investimentos e anuncia novo SUV
Além do Kardian, um SUV compacto cuja pré-série já se iniciou na fábrica paranaense de São José dos Pinhais para lançamento em março de 2024, a Renault confirmou investimento de mais R$ 2 bilhões em oito novos produtos no Brasil até 2027. O primeiro, um SUV inédito, enquadra-se no segmento C, maior que o Kardian, sem versão de sete lugares e no estilo tradicional (nada de SUV cupê), porém certamente terá uma versão híbrida flex.
A Renault juntou-se à GM, GWM, Toyota e VW para protestar contra a segunda renovação do regime de incentivos fiscais até 2032 para fabricantes instalados no Nordeste e Centro Oeste, o que desequilibraria as condições competitivas no mercado brasileiro.
Outro posicionamento da marca francesa é a continuidade no desenvolvimento de motores a combustão interna (MCI) e versões híbridas. Para isso a matriz criou duas divisões independentes: Horse (MCI) e Ampère (elétricos). A empresa prevê que em 2040 metade das vendas de carros no mundo ainda serão de MCI, híbridos plenos e híbridos plugáveis.
Dolphin é o Carro do Ano 2024 da revista Autoesporte
A mais tradicional iniciativa de eleger os principais lançamentos do mercado teve início em 1965/66 com a revista Mecânica Popular, da Efecê Editora. Depois migrou para outra revista da mesma empresa, a Autoesporte, posteriormente vendida para a Editora Globo. E pela primeira vez o júri de jornalistas da revista e de convidados elegeram um carro elétrico, o BYD Dolphin. Nesta 57ª edição os outros vencedores foram: BMW X1 (Premium), BMW i7 (Superpremium), Porsche 911 GT3 RS (Esportivo), Ranger (Picape), F-150 (Picape premium), GWM (motor até 2 litros) e BMW (motor acima de 2 litros).
Quando avaliei o Dolphin, algumas semanas atrás, o que mais impressionou foi o espaço interno. Isso pela distância entre eixos de nada menos que 2.700 mm (como referência o Omega lançado em 1992 e considerado um sedã grande à época, tinha entre-eixos de 2.730 mm). Quem senta atrás conta com nível de conforto fora do comum, ajudado com o assoalho plano. E na altura 99 mm a mais garantem ao modelo chinês uma atmosfera interna superior aos outros hatches compactos. E no comprimento é apenas 50 mm maior do que um Polo.
Bancos são macios, painel tem soluções criativas, acabamento e materiais também de qualidade superior. O quadro de instrumentos, uma pequena tela de apenas 5,3 pol., contrasta com a tela de multimídia giratória do 12,8 pol. Nesta há espelhamento apenas Apple CarPlay, mas Android Auto, segundo a BYD, “chegará em breve”. A seleção de marcha à frente e ré fica num cilindro no meio do painel em posição pouco prática.
Motor de apenas 95 cv e 18,4 kgf·m para deslocar uma massa de 1.405 kg fica longe de empolgar como outros elétricos. Aceleração declarada de 0 a 100 km/h em 10,9 s não se confirmou. Com cronômetro de pulso só consegui 12,2 s, usando o velocímetro do GPS do telefone. Alcance médio registrado ficou em torno dos 300 quilômetros. Realmente desagradável, no para e anda do trânsito, é o ruído para advertir pedestres abaixo de 25 km/h que vaza para a cabine e, claro, não pode ser desligado.

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is wonderful blog. A great read. I’ll certainly be back.
