Iniciativa para aprimorar aprendizagens em escolas municipais celebra três anos de atuação
O projeto Trilhos da Alfabetização, que desde 2020, está presente em 23 municípios maranhenses ao longo da Estrada de Ferro Carajás (EFC) para aprimorar a aprendizagem de crianças matriculadas nos três primeiros anos do Ensino Fundamental da rede pública, será expandido. A iniciativa passa a atuar também no 4º e no 5º ano, abrangendo todas as séries do Ensino Fundamental I. Com a ampliação, o projeto prevê capacitar, ao todo, 8 mil professores, coordenadores e gestores escolares, para melhorar os níveis de aprendizagem de 67 mil estudantes.
A notícia foi dada em eventos em Itapecuru-Mirim, Santa Inês e Açailândia, que juntos reuniram cerca de 3 mil professores, gestores e lideranças municipais de todas as cidades participantes. Atualmente, a iniciativa da Fundação Vale, em parceria com a Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), Governo do Maranhão, Consórcio Intermodal Municipal (CIM) e prefeituras, realiza a formação continuada de mais de 5 mil educadores das mais de 1 mil escolas públicas contempladas.
“Celebramos mais uma conquista para a educação do Maranhão, com a expansão do projeto Trilhos da Alfabetização. Acreditamos nas ações transformadoras do projeto para ajudar na construção de habilidades essenciais, visando ao fortalecimento do aprendizado de nossas crianças. Estamos convictos de que as ações estão ajudando cada vez mais a transformar a educação nos municípios participantes, e são um referencial para novas aprendizagens”, destacou o vice-governador e secretário de Estado da Educação, Felipe Camarão.
Além disso, o projeto também desenvolve e distribui materiais didáticos complementares, como almanaques e jogos pedagógicos. Elaborados considerando o contexto do Maranhão, os conteúdos abordam temas como sustentabilidade, diversidade e combate ao racismo, além de elementos da cultura local, valorizando tradições, músicas e palavras que estão presentes no dia a dia das crianças. “Ao aproximar o ensino dos saberes que as crianças trazem de casa e ao unir a aprendizagem com o brincar, buscamos tornar essa jornada mais prazerosa e significativa, retendo assim o interesse do aluno”, comentou Flavia Constant, diretora-presidente da Fundação Vale.
Alfabetização – O Trilhos da Alfabetização também tem como premissas a mobilização e envolvimento das famílias, o fortalecimento da gestão municipal e uma cultura de acompanhamento e avaliação da aprendizagem de cada criança. O projeto vai ao encontro da meta nacional de alfabetizar as crianças até os oito anos de idade, uma das prioridades do Ministério da Educação.
“Uma alfabetização plena na idade certa é de extrema importância para a inclusão social. É isso que dará base para o aprendizado nos anos seguintes, em diferentes áreas do conhecimento, garantindo o correto fluxo escolar e o interesse e permanência na escola, resultando em uma educação de qualidade para todos e todas”, complementa Flavia.
Sobre a Fundação Vale – Criada há 53 anos, a Fundação Vale busca contribuir para o desenvolvimento social nos territórios onde a Vale atua, por meio do fortalecimento de políticas públicas e da atuação conjunta com instituições parceiras, somando esforços para transformar a realidade dos públicos atendidos pelos programas.
