Painel de encerramento teve como teme “Ministério Público: Desafios e Diálogos Interinstitucionais”
Com abordagem do tema “Cidadania em rede e inovações sociais”, a ex-procuradora geral da República Raquel Dodge (hoje subprocuradora-geral) proferiu a palestre de encerramento do 13º Congresso Estadual do Ministério Público do Maranhão. Ela fez um resgate histórico da luta pela consolidação da democracia como modelo hegemônico no Ocidente, depois da primeira e da segunda guerras mundiais, e a superação do período da Guerra Fria, com a derrubada do muro de Berlim e o fim da União Soviética.
Nesse contexto, também destacou a luta pela conquista dos direitos civis das mulheres e dos negros no século XX e pelos direitos sociais no Brasil, o que culminou com a Constituição de 1988, na qual foi definido o papel atual do Ministério Público na defesa da democracia.
Raquel Dodge afirmou que o Ministério Público deve sempre se aperfeiçoar para garantir uma resolutividade que contemple todos os brasileiros, que garanta uma justiça justa, a diminuição das desigualdades e o aperfeiçoamento das políticas públicas.
“O Ministério Público tem a ver com essa matéria-prima que é promover uma resolutividade que transforma a realidade, de um modo que em breve nos orgulhemos de dizer: somos uma sociedade em que todos nós merecemos das instituições públicas uma atenção que nos emancipa, que nos torna cidadãos melhores, com nossas liberdades afetivas, nossas crenças e com a nossa convivência baseada em um mesmo patamar de valores. Somos iguais em direitos e em dignidade”, enfatizou.
Palestras – Foram palestrantes no último dia do evento, quinta-feira (07), a procuradora de justiça Ivana Lúcia Franco Cei (do MP do Amapá), que é conselheira do Conselho Nacional do Ministério Público (CNMP); o promotor de justiça João Paulo Santos Schoucair (do MP da Bahia), membro do Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ), e o promotor de justiça Henrique da Rosa Ziesemer (do MP de Santa Catarina).
A mesa foi coordenada pela procuradora de justiça Rita de Cassia Maia Baptista e teve como debatedora a promotora de justiça Letícia Teresa Sales Freire, ambas do MPMA.
