Cruzeiro encerra estreia de brasileiros com empate na altitude

Campinas, SP, 04 (AFI) – Todos os brasileiros já estrearam na Copa Sul-Americana. Nesta quinta-feira, o Cruzeiro encerrou a primeira rodada de brasucas com um empate sem gols contra o Universidad de Quito-EQU, na altitude equatoriana.

De volta à Sul-Americana após sete anos, o Cruzeiro fez uma boa estreia. Na altitude de 2.800 de Quito, o time mineiro ficou no empate sem gols contra o Universidad Católica de Quito-EQU, no estádio Olímpico Atahualpa, pelo Grupo B. 

Com o empate, Cruzeiro e Universidad dividem a vice-liderança da chave, que é liderada pelo Unión La Calera-CHI, que superou o Alianza Petrolera-COL, por 1 a 0. O Cruzeiro não disputava uma competição internacional desde 2019, quando caiu nas oitavas de finais da Libertadores.

Já pelo Grupo H, do Red Bull Bragantino, o Racing-ARG venceu o Sportivo Luqueño-PAR, por 2 a 0, e lidera a chave. Já pelo Grupo G, do Cuiabá, Despotivo Garcilaso-PER venceu o Metropolitanos-VEN, por 3 a 2, de virada.

RESULTADOS BRASILEIROS

Foi o quarto empate de brasileiros na estreia. Durante a semana, o Cuiabá ficou no empate por 1 a 1 com o Lanús-ARG, mesmo resultado de Corinthians e Racing-URU. Já o Internacional empatou por 0 a 0 Belgrano-ARG.

Quem pode comemorar foram Fortaleza, Athletico-PR e Red Bull Bragantino. Quem melhor atuou foi o Furacão, que goleou o Sportivo Ameliano-PAR, por 4 a 1. Já o Leão venceu o Sportivo Trinidense-PAR, por 2 a 0. Enquanto o Massa Bruta superou o Coquimbo Unido-COL, pelo placar mínimo de 1 a 0.
