A Polícia Civil do Maranhão prendeu nesta terça-feira, 8, um indivíduo de 33 anos por ter roubado um veículo com três cachorros dentro, no bairro do Vinhais, em São Luís. O mandado de prisão temporária foi cumprido por meio da Delegacia de Roubos e Furtos de Veículos (DRFV)

De acordo com a polícia, o FIAT MOBI, branco, estava estacionado em frente a um petshop quando foi levado, no dia 09 de abril deste ano.

Após a instauração do inquérito policial e várias diligências, foi possível identificar o autor do crime, e em seguida a DRFV representou por sua prisão temporária, que foi cumprida nesta data.

Em interrogatório, o investigado confessou o crime e afirmou que soltou os cachorros próximo do shopping Pátio Norte, no Maiobão. Os animais já foram encontrados com ajuda de moradores do bairro.

O veículo roubado também já foi recuperado e devolvido para a proprietária.

O inquérito policial está em fase de conclusão, de acordo com a Polícia Civil, e o investigado será indiciado pelo crime de roubo. Caso condenado, poderá receber uma pena de 04 a 10 anos de prisão, além de multa.
