Grave acidente registrado nesse sábado, 25, na altura do km 174 da Rodovia Constantine Peruchi (SP-316), que liga Rio Claro a Santa Gertrudes, resultou na morte de um jovem casal que estava em uma moto.
A Polícia Civil informou que a motocicleta das vítimas colidiu de frente com um carro de pesseio. O motorista do veículo relatou que viajava com a esposa, no sentido Santa Gertrudes, quando a moto do casal, que seguia na via contrária, invadiu a pista e causou a colisão.
Ketlen Lorrane Lemes, de 20 anos, e Vitor Matheus Alves Santos, 21, não resistiram aos ferimentos e morreram no local. Eles moravam em Santa Gertrudes.
Os ocupantes do carro, que não se feriram, permaneceram no local do acidente até a chegada da Polícia Rodoviária e as equipes de resgate. Em seguida, eles foram levados ao Plantão Policial de Rio Claro, ouvidos e liberados.
Os corpos dos jovens foram encaminhados ao Instituto Médico Legal (IML).
