Na madrugada deste sábado (2), uma adolescente de 17 anos, identificada como Clara Sousa, foi assassinada em um arraial promovido pela prefeitura, na cidade de Coroatá, a cerca de 250 km de São Luís.

Segundo a polícia, o crime foi praticado por um militar reformado da Marinha, que já está preso.
De acordo com informações policiais, o namorado da vítima teria tido um desentendimento com o militar reformado, identificado como José Eustáquio Primo Maia, de 51 anos. Em meio à discussão, o militar sacou uma pistola e disparou na intenção de atingir o rapaz, mas acabou atingindo a namorada dele.
Clara Sousa foi atingida por um tiro na região do tórax. A adolescente chegou a ser socorrida, mas acabou não resistindo aos ferimentos e foi a óbito.
Já o militar reformado foi preso na hora do crime, por policiais militares que faziam a segurança do arraial.
José Eustáquio Primo Maia foi encaminhado para a Delegacia Regional de Codó e deve responder pelo crime de homicídio.
