Turma formada por 32 brasileiros e 11 venezuelanos
Foi realizada nesta quinta-feira (14), no Teatro da Cidade, em São Luís. a solenidade de formatura dos alunos da segunda Edição do Programa Canteiro Escola. Trata-se de uma parceria do Sistema Federação das Indústrias do Maranhão (Fiema), por meio do Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial (Senai-MA), Serviço Social da Indústria (SesiI-MA) e Sindicato das Indústrias da Construção Civil (Sinduscon-MA) e Prefeitura de São Luís, por meio da Fundação Municipal de Patrimônio Histórico (FUMPH), tornou possível o sonho de 43 pessoas em ter uma qualificação profissional.
Os alunos participaram dos cursos de ‘Pedreiro de Revestimento’ e ‘Pintor de Obras Imobiliárias’, e se tornaram aptos para atuar na conservação de bens do Patrimônio Histórico de São Luís ou de qualquer localidade que exija as devidas técnicas explanadas ao longo dos respectivos cursos.
Em seu discurso, o presidente da Fiema, Edilson Baldez, falou da emoção em ter contribuído com a formação dos alunos.
“Hoje vendo vocês aqui sendo certificados, passa um filme na minha cabeça. Lembro dos meus tempos de ajudante de pedreiro e dos meus cursos que me trouxeram tanto conhecimento. Então é motivo de muita satisfação poder estar participando dessa festa e fazendo a entrega daquilo que é muito importante para as pessoas, que é ser profissionalizado, ter condições de trabalhar e sustentar a sua família”, ressaltou.
Nesta segunda edição, o Palácio Arquiepiscopal foi o edifício histórico da capital escolhido para receber a recuperação por meio do Programa. As fachadas receberam novo reboco, pintura externa, assim como as esquadrias em madeira, os gradis e os guarda-corpos. O Palácio fica ao lado da Catedral de Nossa Senhora da Vitória, e compõe o conjunto arquitetônico do núcleo da fundação da capital maranhense.
O sucesso do programa que tem um papel fundamental na preservação do patrimônio e na formação profissional de cidadãos, especialmente aqueles em situação de vulnerabilidade, só foi possível graças ao apoio das empresas privadas Vale, Alumar, B2O Partners, Eneva, Cimento Bravo, Alfa Engenharia, Silveira Engenharia, Construtora Escudo, e Gomes Sodré Engenharia. Além da colaboração da Federação do Comércio (por meio do Sesc), Sebrae e da Associação Comercial do Maranhão.
O prefeito de São Luís, Eduardo Braide, reforçou a importância de um mercado aberto aos novos profissionais. Segundo ele, o setor da construção civil cresce a cada dia e necessita de mão de obra especializada”.
Ao longo de sete meses os alunos receberam bolsa-auxílio de R$ 300,00, alimentação, vale-transporte, fardamento e, na conclusão do curso, o certificado emitido pelo Senai.
Além de 32 alunos brasileiros, o grupo de formandos conta com 11 venezuelanos da etnia warao, inseridos no Programa Canteiro Escola a partir de parceria com o Tribunal de Justiça do Maranhão (TJ-MA), por meio do projeto “Justiça restaurativa”, como meio efetivo de inserção social, econômica e cultural de refugiados.
O diretor Regional do Senai-MA, Raimundo Arruda, destaca a importância do curso para a qualificação profissional no mercado.
“A capacitação vai proporcionar colocar essas pessoas no mundo do trabalho. Hoje elas saem para este setor com uma expertise na recuperação de patrimônio histórico não só do nosso estado, do Brasil e até do mundo”, declarou.
Primeira Edição – Com um papel relevante na transformação de pessoas e na preservação do Patrimônio Histórico, o Programa Canteiro Escola é uma iniciativa pioneira no Brasil. A primeira edição formou 27 profissionais, os quais foram responsáveis por realizar a recuperação total da fachada do Mercado das Tulhas, edificação pública, também conhecido como Mercado da Praia Grande, construído no século XIX.
