Estudantes vão aliar marketing, design e trabalho em equipe

O Serviço Social da Indústria (Sesi) deu início à temporada 2023/2024 da competição F1 in Schools com um workshop para os 42 alunos das sete escuderias que representarão a Escola Sesi São Luís na competição. Realizado desde 2019, o programa F1 in Schools desafia estudantes de 09 a 19 anos matriculados nas escolas Sesi a criarem ‘empresas’ para competir em uma pista de corrida em miniatura.

O campeonato faz parte de um projeto internacional realizado pela própria Fórmula 1 e reproduz os desafios profissionais envolvidos em uma corrida de carros do início ao fim, desde a criação da escuderia até o enfrentamento nas pistas. 

O workshop abriu a próxima temporada para os estudantes da capital e chega com novas regras que vão deixar os carros mais rápidos e competitivos para o grupo de iniciantes na F1.

“A nova temporada 2023-2024, lançada agora em setembro, vem com muitas de novidades nas áreas de engenharia, gestão, empreendedorismo e em projeto social, que são os pilares avaliados na F1”, revelou o professor de Física Luís Fernando Lopes. 

Fernando explicou que, na engenharia dos carrinhos de F1 in Schools os alunos precisam agora se apropriar do regulamento internacional, que antes era utilizado apenas quando as escuderias chegavam à fase internacional.  

“Nós tínhamos um regulamento que funcionava aqui no Brasil. A gente tinha regras específicas. Agora mudou. Um exemplo é o ralo, que nós não tínhamos pelas regras das competições anteriores. Ele serve como um protetor nos carros de Fórmula 1, fica na parte superior para proteger a cabeça do piloto. Outra novidade que veio com o regulamento internacional são as rodas, que antes eram uniformes e agora podem ter uma modificação, com rodas traseiras maiores que as rodas dianteiras”, disse o professor. 

Outra mudança foi no pilar Projeto Social, antes critério de desempate das categorias. “Pelo novo regulamento, o projeto social vai valer 120 pontos. O Sesi Maranhão é tricampeão a nível nacional. Ninguém nunca ganhou mais projetos nesse nível social do que nós. Então, agora, a responsabilidade vai ser maior”, explica Luís Fernando.

Segundo ele, geralmente o Maranhão busca comunidades mais carentes para serem beneficiadas pelos projetos sociais desenvolvidos dentro de temas como sustentabilidade, tecnologia e inovação. 

Lições – Muito mais que uma competição, o F1 in Schools traz valiosas lições para os alunos. Kallynne Christinny Chaves Silva, 16 anos, explica que mudou seu olhar sobre as coisas e sobre a vida, quando entrou no projeto.

“Comecei a aprender várias coisas, a desenvolver técnicas e estratégias de marketing, e até mesmo de comunicação. Minha oratória melhorou, o meu desempenho dentro da escola, minha postura em relação à apresentação. Então, é um projeto que vai moldando um aluno até nos mínimos detalhes.”  

À frente de escuderias de Fórmula 1, os estudantes precisam aliar marketing, design e trabalho em equipe para cruzar a linha de chegada com os carrinhos em miniatura de F1 criados por eles. Os novatos contam com o auxílio dos veteranos, como Enzo Soares, de 19 anos, que leva a experiência e o que aprendeu com a F1 in Schools para quem está entrando agora.  

“Primeiramente, a dificuldade que a gente realmente tem é de conhecer como é que a F1 funciona. Agora que eles estão tendo a oportunidade de ver na prática e entender com a gente, que já teve essa experiência, eles estão vendo que não era tão simples, nem mesmo tão o básico que eles esperavam”, revela Enzo, que hoje é estudante universitário e estagiário do Sesi.  

Na última competição, a equipe de alunos do Sesi Imperatriz Graffeno se destacou ao alcançar as oitavas de final da competição do mata-mata e ainda obteve o prestigioso prêmio de carro mais veloz do torneio. Uma conquista que demonstra o talento e a dedicação dos integrantes da escuderia. 

O aluno do 1º ano do Ensino Médio, Isaac Gomes, de 15 anos, sabe bem o que pode alcançar com a competição. “Eu entrei na F1 para desenvolver novas habilidades e agregar à minha escuderia. Trabalho em equipe, habilidades de fala, comunicação, desenvolvimento da língua inglesa e outras línguas estrangeiras, que são necessárias, além de saber lidar com problemas e na resolução deles, saber lidar com dinheiro, economia, e conciliar estudo e trabalho”, disse o novato.
