Já o time cruz-maltino jogou o Cruzeiro para a zona de rebaixamento. No outro jogo desta segunda-feira, Santos e Cuiabá ficaram no 0 a 0.
VASCO ABALA BOTAFOGO
O Vasco aumentou a crise do Botafogo ao vencer o clássico por 1 a 0, em São Januário, Além de impedir com que o rival abrisse nova vantagem na liderança do Brasileirão, o Cruz-maltino deixou a zona de rebaixamento.
O Botafogo conheceu o seu terceiro revés consecutivo no Brasileirão e já não é o único que depende apenas de si para ser campeão. O Red Bull Bragantino também pode levar o título se vencer todos os seus duelos. Eles se enfrentarão daqui duas rodadas.
Apesar da derrota, o Botafogo ainda lidera com 59 pontos, mesma pontuação do Palmeiras, que tem um jogo a mais. O Red Bull Bragantino tem 58, contra 56 do Grêmio. Atlético-MG, com 52, e Flamengo, com 50, também sonham.
O Vasco, por outro lado, acirrou ainda mais a briga contra a degola, já que chegou aos 37 pontos e empurrou o Cruzeiro, com a mesma pontuação, para a zona de rebaixamento, junto com os virtuais rebaixados América-MG e Coritiba, além do Goiás, que tem 35.
EMPATE NA VILA
Na Vila Belmiro, Santos e Cuiabá ficaram no empate sem gols nesta segunda-feira, resultado que acabou sendo ruim para o Peixe, que continua muito ameaçado de rebaixamento, agora, com 38 pontos.
O Dourado, por sua vez, continua se distanciando da degola, mas perde a oportunidade de iniciar a luta por algo mais. O Cuiabá é o 12º colocado, com 41 pontos.
