O Ministério Público do Trabalho no Maranhão (MPT-MA) divulgou, nesta quinta-feira (14), que criminosos estão usando o nome do órgão ministerial para tentar aplicar golpes e fazer fraudes.

Segundo o MPT-MA, pessoas sem qualquer ligação com o órgão estão usando indevidamente o nome de procuradores do Trabalho, tentando obter vantagens financeiras. O caso já está sendo investigado pela Polícia Federal.

Nesta quinta-feira (14), foi realizada uma audiência na sede da Procuradoria Regional do Trabalho da 16ª Região/MA, em São Luís, para tratar sobre o crime.

De acordo com o MPT-MA, nessa quarta, a direção de um sindicato no Maranhão recebeu uma ligação de Brasília de uma pessoa se passando por procurador do Trabalho.

O suposto procurador ligou pedindo dinheiro para que os membros do Ministério Público do Trabalho tivessem condições de realizar uma força-tarefa, que tinha como alvo uma empresa, localizada no bairro do Coroadinho, em São Luís, suspeita de ter trabalhadores em situação análoga à escravidão. Porém, segundo o órgão, ele não faz pedido de dinheiro para realizar qualquer operação.

“O MPT-MA deixa claro que seus membros não fazem pedidos de pagamentos ou de repasses de valores para realização de operações e de forças-tarefas de combate ao trabalho escravo ou para quaisquer outras atividades funcionais da instituição”, disse o órgão por meio de nota.

Crimes cibernéticos no Maranhão

Dados da Polícia Civil do Maranhão (PC-MA) registraram quase 4 mil casos de casos golpes virtuais efetuados em um aplicativo de mensagens, no Maranhão, em 2022. A modalidade de crimes cibernéticos têm crescido, em todo o país, nos últimos anos.

De acordo com informações da Secretaria de Estado da Segurança Pública (SSP-MA), por meio do Sistema Integrado de Gestão do Maranhão (Sigma), o Maranhão, em 2021, apresentou um crescimento no número de ocorrências no ambiente virtual, com 1.269 casos registrados. Dentre as principais formas de atuação dos criminosos, constam o estelionato e a invasão de sistemas e dispositivos, com 1.178 registros e 87 casos, respectivamente.

Com o uso sofisticado de algoritmos, capazes de realizarem organizações de dados baseados em pesquisas de usuários em páginas na internet, os golpistas conseguem convencer as vítimas, tornando propício o roubo de dados, alterações de identidades e outras violações de segurança. O advogado, especialista em direito digital, Diego Moraes, informa que a população deve estar atenta às formas de prevenção para este tipo de crime.
