Homem de 42 anos apresenta todos sintomas da doença

Um homem com suspeita de ter contraído Varíola de Macacos foi transferido na madrugada deste sábado (06) para o Hospital Carlos Macieira, da rede estadual de saúde, no bairro do Calhau, em São Luís. A informação é da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde da capital.
A informação sobre esse caso suspeito foi dada em primeira mão pelo prefeito Eduardo Braide, na noite desta sexta-feira (05).
“Informo que um homem de 42 anos, deu entrada no Hospital Socorrão I nesta sexta-feira (05), com suspeita de Monkeypox”, disse o prefeito. No momento do comunicado, a pessoa estava internada no Hospital Djalma Marques, Socorrão I.
Segundo o prefeito, o paciente estava isolado, “estável e será transferido para outra unidade de saúde, onde aguardará o resultado dos exames”.
Na sua nota, a Secretaria de Saúde (Semus) informa que “o homem de 42 anos deu entrada no Socorrão 1, nesta sexta-feira (05), apresentando fraqueza muscular, dor, febre e lesões pustulosas”.
Ainda de acordo com a nota, “o estado de saúde do paciente é considerado estável”.
