O Campeonato Mexicano

A Primera División de México, ou a Liga MX, tem um grande patrocinador que renomeia a liga.  Assim, a liga passou a se chamar, desde 2013, Liga BBVA Bancomer. Esta é a liga mais forte da América do Norte e envolve os melhores times daquele país. A competição tem 18 times na série A. Entretanto, na temporada de 2019/2020, não houve rebaixamento e um clube foi adicionado à liga, totalizando, agora 19 times.

Assim, como outros campeonatos de língua espanhola, o Mexicano também conta com a Apertura (primeira fase) e a Clausula (segunda fase). Por fim, Os clubes com mais vitoriosos da competição são o América, com 13 títulos, e o Chivas, com 12 títulos, seguidos de Toluca com 10, Cruz Azul com 9, Pumas, León e U.A.N.L Tigres com 7 títulos cada.

A edição 20/21 teve como campeão o CRUZ AZUL. Assim sendo, o time venceu o SANTOS LAGUNA, vice-campeão.  Na edição 21/22 a disputa também acontecerá em forma de APERTURA E CLAUSURA, ou seja, primeira a segunda fases do Campeonato Mexicano.
