E isso implica em incentivar os professores a continuar a busca pelo conhecimento, com formações continuadas relevantes e que auxiliem, efetivamente, no processo pedagógico cotidiano.
Você se lembra do seu primeiro professor ou professora? E daquele professor do Ensino Médio ou da Universidade que foi tão significativo em sua formação? Pois é, muitos de nós temos esses profissionais como inspiração para diferentes carreiras, sendo incentivado, apoiado e percebido por cada um deles, desde o início de nossa vida escolar.
A desvalorização social e histórica da profissão professor é um dos principais motivos que têm feito muitos profissionais deixarem a sala de aula em busca de outras opções no mercado de trabalho. E não é raro encontrarmos, tanto nas instituições públicas quanto nas instituições privadas, professores desmotivados, cansados e com um sentimento de “abandono”. Isso mesmo! Abandono no sentido intelectual. De não possuírem apoio em sua caminhada, em suas necessidades formativas para acompanhar crianças, jovens e adultos, em uma sociedade que vive em constante mudança.
A formação continuada, nesse contexto, é, evidentemente, uma ação complexa, na medida em que a educação é pensada como parte do mundo, composto por conflitos, e com a necessidade de compreender as diversas dimensões dos indivíduos e da sociedade. Com isso, é importante destacar a relevância social da função dos docentes no processo educacional, decorre da necessidade de um profissional que possua uma variedade de conhecimentos, saberes e habilidades, que consiga abranger a complexidade da educação, aplicando e transcorrendo o domínio dos conhecimentos e conteúdos pedagógicos.
Mas, diante desse cenário de desvalorização, o que comemorar, então, no Dia dos Professores?
A luta! A persistência de cada docente que acredita no propósito de seu trabalho, em sua capacidade de auxiliar na construção do conhecimento desde a educação infantil. Comemorar com aqueles que possuem a consciência da importância da educação e de cada professor no desenvolvimento das diferentes áreas da sociedade.
Os professores são a linha de frente de qualquer projeto de desenvolvimento, nas diferentes áreas do conhecimento. São parte do caminho do desenvolvimento de indivíduos reflexivos, ou seja, que recebem as informações e mediações necessárias para tornar os saberes significativos e capazes de mudar a sociedade.
E isso vai além do giz, computador, livros, cadernos etc. Trata-se de deixar marcas na vida de muitos dos alunos, que buscam o conhecimento para sua formação, valorização e crescimento.
Portanto, parabéns, professor! Pela data e pela profissão escolhida. Parabéns pelos conhecimentos construídos e compartilhados.
