O primeiro compromisso de Paulo Velten como governador interino do Maranhão ocorreu nesta quarta-feira (1º) à tarde, para a entrega de 250 títulos de regularização fundiária e 1 tonelada de peixe na Vila Palmeira. Velten foi empossado de manhã, em solenidade no Palácio dos Leões.
“É uma sequência importante que o Governo do Estado tem dado para a regularização fundiária no Maranhão inteiro. Essa política acalma a cidade, traz uma importante função social de acolhimento, de organização da urbanização, sem falar que o cidadão passa a contar com um importante ativo financeiro”, pontuou o governador interino.
A secretária das Cidades e Desenvolvimento Urbano, Joslene Rodrigues, ressaltou que a iniciativa dá continuidade aos trabalhos realizados no bairro desde o ano passado.
“Aqui na Vila Palmeira estamos entregando 250 títulos de regularização fundiária de um trabalho já desenvolvido desde o ano passado, quando entregamos 450. Serão mais de mil famílias beneficiadas por esse programa”, destacou a secretária.
Agora, depois de uma espera de 30 anos, a dona de casa Joana Darc Sousa terá, finalmente, segurança jurídica ao receber o seu título de propriedade. “Significa muito, é um sonho que eu tinha de ter a escritura da minha casa. Hoje, vou ter o privilégio de receber depois de uma espera de 30 anos”, comemorou.
A tarde, Velten participou, no município de Raposa, da inauguração do Colégio Militar Tiradentes XII e realiza visitas técnicas em obras de infraestrutura. Em seguida, participa da cerimônia de posse para o biênio 2022-2024 do novo defensor público Geral do Estado, Gabriel Santana Furtado Soares.
