Foram criadas mais de 40.927 vagas de empregos no Maranhão, de janeiro a setembro deste ano. O número coloca o estado como o primeiro do Nordeste na geração de postos de trabalho. Os dados são do Cadastro Geral de Empregados e Desempregados (Caged), órgão do governo federal que registra as admissões e dispensas de empregados que estão sob o regime da Consolidação das Leis do Trabalho (CLT).

No mês de setembro, foram geradas 6.983 novas oportunidades de trabalho formal, representando crescimento de 7,79%. É o nono aumento na criação de vagas de trabalho este ano. O resultado equivale a uma expansão no contingente de empregados, sendo o maior saldo de empregos desde 2021.

Os dados são considerados significativos frente às dificuldades econômicas do país, que ainda sofre os efeitos da pandemia causada pela Covid-19. O governador Carlos Brandão avaliou o alcance do Maranhão no setor.

“De acordo com o Caged, o Maranhão lidera no Nordeste a criação de emprego, com 40.927 vagas, considerando os meses de janeiro a setembro. E, pela nona vez este ano, tivemos aumento, criando 6.983 vagas em setembro. Ou seja, em nenhum mês do ano teve mais desligamentos que contratações. Tudo isso, além de ser o maior saldo de emprego desde junho de 2021. É assim que vamos continuar”, frisou.

Nesta alta na geração de empregos no estado, todos os grupamentos de atividade apresentaram resultado positivo em setembro. Só o setor de serviços foi responsável pela abertura de 3.428 vagas.

Seguem em destaque nessa rota de evolução a área da construção civil, com 1.254 vagas geradas, e do comércio, que oportunizou 1.397 postos de trabalho. O setor agropecuário teve saldo de 495 contratações, e a indústria gerou 409 postos de trabalho.

O saldo positivo na geração de empregos se deve também à intermediação das agências do Sistema Nacional de Emprego do Maranhão (Sine-MA), presentes nos municípios ofertando emprego e qualificação.

“Conseguimos atingir mais um grande resultado, confirmado pelos dados do Caged. Isso se deve ao compromisso do governo do Estado em fazer novos investimentos; sobretudo na infraestrutura, construindo hospitais, escolas, praças e a prova disso é o aumento na geração de trabalho no setor da construção civil. Os resultados se devem, também, à criação de programas sociais importantes, como o Trabalho Jovem. A gestão segue avançando na geração de trabalho para que todos os maranhenses tenham, de fato, oportunidade de renda com carteira assinada e mais dignidade”, ressaltou a titular da Secretaria de Estado do Trabalho e Economia Solidária (Setres), Lília Raquel.
