Sabe-se, por exemplo que alguns jogos dos principais times poderão ser transmitidos pela MycujooTV, mas as transmissões, neste início de campeonato não estão disponíveis.

O Campeonato Maranhense 2022

A Federação Maranhense de Futebol (FMF) modifica formato do Campeonato Maranhense e realiza sorteio de grupos. O modelo de disputa terá validade mínima de duas temporadas.

A FMF divulgou um novo formato para o Campeonato Maranhense. O campeonato passa agora a ser dividido em grupos, contando com dois grupos, havendo possibilidade de a competição ter uma final geral.

As equipes estão divididas em grupos de quatro, tendo como cabeças de chaves, Sampaio Corrêa e Moto Club, que foram campeão e vice da temporada 2021.Os demais times foram apontados por meio de realização de sorteio, segundo o site Maranhão Único

O Campeonato Maranhense 2022 será transmitido pela TV FMF, no YouTube, quando a Federação Maranhense de Futebol.

O primeiro e o segundo turno

No primeiro turno, os times jogarão entre si, em partidas de ida, dentro de cada grupo, devendo totalizar três jogos para cada clube. Os dois primeiros de cada grupo se classificam. Depois, o primeiro colocado de cada clube deverá enfrentar o segundo colocado do outro grupo, nas semifinais, em jogo único, e o mando de jogo será do primeiro colocado.

Se houver empate, a decisão será em penalidades máximas. Aqueles que saírem campões dos confrontos farão a final do turno, em jogo único, que terá mando de campo do time que tiver feito a melhor campanha. Havendo empate, a decisão será em penalidades máximas.

Já no segundo turno, os clubes jogarão contra os integrantes do outro grupo, em jogos de ida, que totalizam quatro jogos para cada time e os dois primeiros de cada grupo se classificam.

Aquele que for o primeiro colocado de cada grupo enfrentará o segundo colocado do outro grupo, nas semifinais, em um jogo único, que terá mando de campo do primeiro colocado. Havendo empate, a decisão será por meio de penalidades máximas.

Depois, os vencedores dos confrontos fazem a final do turno, em partida única, que terá mando da equipe que possuir a melhor campanha. Havendo empate, a decisão será por meio de penalidades máximas.

Final

Se um time vencer os dois turnos, será considerado o Campeão Maranhense. Com isso, o vice-campeão será a equipe com a melhor campanha. Contudo, se clubes diversos vençam os turnos, será realizada a disputa de título em dois jogos. Nesse caso, o segundo jogo será com mando de campo da equipe de melhor campanha.

Se houver empate entre os times, a decisão será por meio de penalidades máximas.

Os rebaixamentos

O rebaixamento acontecerá da seguinte maneira: os dois times com a campanha na classificação geral serão rebaixados para a Série B 2023. É importante salientar que o regulamento e seu novo formato da competição deverão durar, no mínimo, duas temporadas.

De acordo com a FMF, o início da competição está prevista para o dia 22 de janeiro. O esperado superclássico só acontece na penúltima rodada do segundo turno, isentando assim a possibilidade de mata-mata no primeiro turno. Os cabeças de chaves são Sampaio e Moto. Essa temporada promete ser uma das mais disputadas dos últimos anos.
