Um motociclista morreu após se envolver em um grave acidente, registrado na Ponte Bandeira Tribuzzi, em São Luís no início da noite desta sexta-feira, 15.
De acordo com o boletim de ocorrências, a motocicleta da vítima foi tocada na traseira por outra moto (placa e modelo não identificados), que o fez invadir a contramão e bater de frente em um veículo VW Fox de cor prata.
O motociclista, que foi a óbito no local, era funcionário do Laboratório Cedro, e estava usando o uniforme da empresa no momento do acidente. Ele foi identificado como José Orlando Costa Alves, e faria 42 anos neste domingo, 17.
A condutora do FOX, de 50 anos, precisou de atendimento médico e foi levada para um hospital não informado da capital.
O trânsito ficou bastante congestionado no local, devido aos trabalhos das equipes do Samu, ICRIM, IML e SMTT, que foi acionada para organizar o fluxo e recolher os veículos.
