REGULAMENTO DA SÉRIE C DE 2022

Os jogos da série C de 2022 terão formato completamente diferente de 2021. No ano passado a disputa seria feita por grupos e neste ano, 2022, apenas um grupo e em três fases. A competição é disputada por 20 clubes. Na primeira fase são 20 clubes disputando 19 jogos contra todos em jogo único. Os melhores 8 colocados vão para a segunda fase. Os rebaixados já são conhecidos nesta etapa. Os quatro últimos caem para a série D. Os dez clubes melhores ranqueados no Ranking da CBF para 2022 terão direito a 10 jogos com mando de campo (25º Vitória, 37º Brasil de Pelotas, 40º Paysandu, 41º Figueirense, 42º Remo, 44º Confiança, 47º ABC, 48º Botafogo SP, 50º Ypiranga de Erechim, 51º Botafogo PB). Consequentemente, os outros dez clubes (52º Ferroviário, 53º Volta Redonda, 55º Manaus, 56º São José RS, 66º Altos, 70º Mirassol, 71º Aparecidense, 72º Campinense, 76º Floresta, 104º Atlético CE) terão 9 jogos com mando de campo.A segunda fase terão dois grupos com quatro clubes. A regra é, o 1º, 3º, 6º e 8º ficam no Grupo A e o grupo B terão as equipes que ficaram em 2º, 4º, 5º e 7º lugares. Os dois mais bem classificados de cada grupo serão promovidos à Série B de 2023, enquanto o melhor clube de cada chave avança à final. Campinense e Botafogo-PB os times da Paraíba aqui.
