A Copa Argentina é um torneio oficial que voltou a ser reeditado em 2011, organizada pela AFA, a partir da edição 2012/13, a fim de classificar uma equipe para a Copa Libertadores da América.
Participam os clubes pertencentes as cinco divisões diretamente filiados à AFA, os membros do Torneo Argentino A e Torneo Argentino B, e quatro equipes de cada uma das províncias que não têm representantes regulares. (La Rioja, La Pampa, Tierra del Fuego e Neuquén) O vencedor disputa a Supercopa Argentina.
Houve apenas duas edições anteriores, em 1969 e 1970, embora esta última não tenha sido disputado até o fim, quando foi campeão o Boca Juniors, que derrotou Atlanta no final de 1969. A equipe vice-campeã participou da Recopa Sul-Americana de Clubes de 1970 para substituir o vencedor Boca Juniors, que não podia jogar simultaneamente por ter se classificado para a Taça Libertadores da América de 1970.
Esta copa foi criada como uma “competição tampão” para cobrir as datas da temporada regular da liga deixada pelo cancelamento da Copa da Superliga Argentina de 2022, esta cancelada por causa da pandemia de COVID-19. Tem como principal objetivo outorgar uma vaga para a Taça Libertadores de 2023, e secundariamente, para a Copa Sul-Americana de 2023. Torneio também conhecido como Campeonato Argentino.
