Um sargento da Polícia Militar foi assassinado na noite desse sábado, 10, no município de Altamira do Maranhão, distante 352 km de São Luís. J Nascimento estava em um bar com a esposa quando foi alvejado com um tiro no peito.
A PM informou que o bar fica afastado da cidade, em uma área de pouca iluminação, mas o estabeleciento estava movimentado na hora do crime.
Testemunhas afirmaram, conforme a PM, que o tiro foi disparado do lado de fora do bar, no momento em que a vítima se levantou para pegar uma bebida. O atirador estaria escondido em um matagal. J Nascimento foi a óbito no local.
Viaturas do 39º e 15º Batalhão de Polícia Militar (BPM) fizeram intensas diligências pela região, no sentido de localizar o autor do crime, mas, até o momento, ele não foi identificado. A Polícia Civil segue investigando o caso.
J Nascimento era comandante do Destacamento Policial de Bom Lugar, e morava em Altamira do Maranhão.
