O Vasco acertou neste domingo (4) a contratação do técnico Jorginho para a sequência da temporada.
A informação da negociação entre as partes foi divulgada primeiramente pelo perfil Arena Cruzmaltina, e o acerto foi confirmado pela ESPN.
De acordo com apuração da reportagem, o treinador já tem um acordo pessoal com a equipe, e agora aguarda apenas as burocracias formais para ser anunciado.
A tendência é que o Cruzmaltino oficialize a contratação do comandante nas próximas horas.
Ele chega para o lugar do auxiliar fixo Emílio Faro, que estava à frente do elenco de maneira interina.
Jorginho estava sem clube desde que foi demitido recentemente pelo Atlético-GO.
Esta será sua 3ª passagem por São Januário. Anteriormente, ele comandou o time entre 2015 e 2016 e depois em 2018.
Em 2016, aliás, o técnico foi campeão do Campeonato Carioca pela equipe da Colina.
Agora, ele assume o Vasco na 4ª colocação da Série B, com 45 pontos. O time tem 4 tentos de vantagem para o Londrina, atual 5º.
