Entretanto, especialistas interpretam corretamente essa lei no sentido de que operar um cassino online no Brasil é ilegal, pois eles estariam hospedando jogos de azar. Mas perceba você, não se pode então, ter um cassino online que esteja hospedado no país, ou ainda, que seja uma empresa nacional explorando a atividade.
E é aí que surge a brecha. Não há nada à luz da Lei Brasileira, estadual ou federal, que torne ilegal o jogo por brasileiros, que seja efetivado por empresas off-shore, incluindo cassinos on-line off-shore. Entendendo o termo, significa, empresa ou site de fora do Brasil.
Posso ser processado por jogar online em cassinos?
A princípio não haveria base legal para tal. Segundo especialistas ouvidos, ao apostar online no Brasil, não haveria nenhuma contravenção.
