A COPA VERDE

A Copa Verde de Futebol é uma competição regional brasileira disputada desde 2014, entre equipes da Região Norte e Centro-Oeste, mais o Espírito Santo.

Organizada pela CBF, o torneio tem formato similar ao da Copa do Brasil, com partidas de ida e volta, em mata-mata, utilizando oito datas do calendário oficial do futebol brasileiro.

Nas duas primeiras edições, o campeão do torneio ganhou uma vaga na Copa Sul-Americana do ano seguinte. Posteriormente a competição garantiu vaga para as oitavas de final da Copa do Brasil até 2019. Atualmente, a competição assegura ao vencedor uma vaga na terceira fase da Copa do Brasil.

O atual campeão é o PAYSANDU. 

História

O torneio nasceu a partir da proposta de se fazer uma competição regional, como a Copa do Nordeste, para clubes da Região Norte – por isso o nome do torneio faz alusão à Floresta Amazônica. Logo, foi decidido ampliar o torneio para clubes do Centro-Oeste e do Espírito Santo (que participava da antiga Copa Centro-Oeste).

 

REGULAMENTO DA COPA VERDE 2022/2023

Regulamento A Copa Verde é realizada com cinco fases. Primeira fase, oitavas e quartas de final, semifinal e a grande final. Na primeira fase e nas oitavas, é jogo único. A partir das quartas, tem ida e volta, assim como na final. O mandante será o time melhor posicionado no ranking nacional de clubes da CBF.

Alguns dos times que vão disputar a Copa Verde: Paysandu-PA, Vila Nova-GO, Luverdense-MT, Rio Branco-AC, Brasiliense, Gama, Atlético-AC, Remo-PA, Atlético-GO e Cuiabá-MT.
