Atriz querida pelos telespectadores brasileiros foi a óbito depois de lutar contra doença.

A novela O Rei do Gado, que vai ao ar nas tardes da Globo, no Vale a Pena Ver de Novo, é um sucesso de audiência. O folhetim de Benedito Ruy Barbosa teve grandes nomes no elenco. Infelizmente, alguns desses artistas já faleceram.

Uma atriz querida pelo público brasileiro, conhecida por papéis icônicos em outras novelas, faleceu de câncer. Ela escondeu a doença da família, conforme disse um irmão em entrevista. Regina Maria Dourado, que foi há óbito há 10 anos, estava irreconhecível na referida trama.

Atriz de O Rei do Gado faleceu de câncer Dona de uma voz marcante, Regina Maria Dourado também possuía um enorme talento. Ao ar na reprise de O Rei do Gado, ela deu vida a um personagem marcante. A atriz interpretou a indígena Magu, que teve um filho com Zé do Araguaia (Stênio Garcia).

A artista foi diagnosticada com um câncer de mama em 2003 e sete anos depois teve a mesma patologia do lado esquerdo. Mesmo estando visivelmente debilitada, participou da peça teatral Paixão de Cristo, encenada na Bahia, em 2011.

Regina Maria Dourado foi hospitalizada no Hospital Português da Bahia, no dia 20 de outubro de 2012. Os médicos consideraram o seu quadro sem cura. No dia 27 do mesmo mês, foi vítima de uma parada cardíaca e não resistiu.

Carreira de atriz da Globo

A atriz Regina Maria Dourada foi muito querida pelos telespectadores brasileiros, com papéis memoráveis. Ela interpretou Morena, em Renascer, de 1993, e recebeu prêmios por essa atuação. Em seguida, veio outro papel de destaque, Serena, de Tropicaliente (1994). Contudo, foi com a divertida Lucineide, de Explode Coração, de 1995, que ela conquistou o público de vez.
