Belo Horizonte, MG, 25 (AFI) – O Cruzeiro derrotou o Bahia por 3 a 0 nesta quarta-feira, no Mineirão, em Belo Horizonte, pela 29ª rodada do Brasileirão, e se distanciou da zona de rebaixamento, ganhando um bom fôlego nos próximos compromissos na competição.

Com o resultado, o Cruzeiro chegou a 37 pontos, abrindo sete do Vasco, o primeiro time dentro da zona de rebaixamento. O Bahia, por sua vez, ficou com 34, ainda ameaçado de queda.

O Cruzeiro, então, deu números finais ao embate aos 42, quando William avançou pela direita e acionou Bruno Rodrigues. O atacante partiu entre os zagueiros e desviou de canela para encobrir Marcos Felipe.

Na próxima rodada, o Bahia enfrenta o Palmeiras no sábado, às 19h, no Allianz Parque, em São Paulo. O Cruzeiro jogaria contra o Fortaleza, mas o duelo foi adiado por causa que o clube cearense está na final da Sul-Americana.
