Belo Horizonte, MG, 17 (AFI) – O Cruzeiro ainda não sabe se poderá contar com dois de seus titulares contra o Flamengo, na próxima quinta-feira (19), em partida válida pela 27ª rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro e que vai marcar a estreia de Tite no comando do time rubro-negro. O lateral-direito William se recupera de uma pancada na cabeça e o atacante Wesley se queixa de dores no joelho. Ambos foram substituídos na última rodada, contra o Cuiabá.
William é peça importantíssima no esquema do Cruzeiro e participou de 23 partidas nesta edição do Brasileirão. Na Arena Pantanal, contra o Cuiabá, sofreu uma pancada na cabeça quando se chocou com o lateral Uendel, do Dourado, e deixou o campo ainda no primeiro tempo. Ele passou por exame de tomografia em um hospital na capital mato-grossense, que não constatou lesão. O Departamento Médico da Raposa segue avaliando a situação do jogador e deve divulgar novas atualizações em breve.
Já Wesley deixou o campo aos 15 do 2º tempo, com o joelho bem inchado, segundo o próprio treinador Zé Ricardo revelou após o término do jogo. O jogador relatou dores no joelho esquerdo e “se sacrificou” para continuar em campo. No desembarque em Belo Horizonte, ainda foi alvo de críticas da torcida pelo gol perdido que poderia ter dado a vitória aos mineiros.
COMO VEM O FLA?
O Flamengo terá um reforço à beira do campo para visitar o Cruzeiro no Mineirão. Trata-se do técnico Tite, apresentado na última segunda-feira (16), que fará sua estreia no comando da equipe. Ele chega para tentar salvar uma temporada frustrante, após o fracasso de Vitor Pereira e Sampaoli, e coloca como principal alvo a classificação direta para a Libertadores de 2024.
Os cariocas poderão contar com o volante Pulgar, que retornou antecipadamente da seleção chilena após receber o terceiro amarelo na vitória contra o Peru, pelas Eliminatórias Sul-Americanas para a Copa do Mundo. Por outro lado, Gerson e Arrascaeta devem ser desfalque, pois ainda estão servindo suas seleções, e, coincidentemente, vão se enfrentar na noite desta terça-feira (17). Uruguai e Brasil duelam em Montevidéu a partir das 21h, e a dupla flamenguista teria menos de 48 horas para retornar a tempo.

O Cabuloso espera mais de 30 mil torcedores no Mineirão para tentar reencontrar o caminho das vitórias. Em 13º lugar e apenas quatro pontos acima da zona de rebaixamento, o Cruzeiro não vence uma partida desde a estreia de Zé Ricardo, há três rodadas, quando despachou o Santos em plena Vila Belmiro por 3 a 0.
