Rio de Janeiro, RJ, 23 (AFI) – O Flamengo ainda está vivo no Campeonato Brasileiro e graças à Arrascaeta. Em jogo atrasado da 30ª rodada, o Mengão venceu o duelo direto contra o Red Bull Bragantino, por 1 a 0, nesta quinta-feira, no Maracanã, e está a dois pontos do Palmeiras, novo líder do torneio.
O Flamengo é o terceiro colocado, com 60 pontos, um a menos que o Botafogo e dois que o Alviverde. Agora, nenhum time tem jogo atrasado na Série A. Já o Red Bull Bragantino permanece com 59 pontos, e caiu para a quinta colocação, ainda na zona de classificação para a pré-Libertadores de 2024.
A princípio, o duelo estava marcado para o último fim de semana de outubro, porém, como o Maracanã era palco da final da Copa Libertadores, o estádio estava sob os cuidados da Conmebol. O time carioca não quis abrir mão do mando e o jogo teve que ser remarcado.
ZERADOS
O duelo direto pelo título começou quente. Mesmo como visitante, o Red Bull Bragantino era melhor que o Flamengo. Mais agudo, o time paulista levava vantagem nas jogadas ofensivas, principalmente pelo lado esquerdo, com Juninho Capixaba. O time teve a chance de abrir o placar, com Aderlan, que saiu cara a cara com Rossi, mas finalizou muito mal.
Os donos da casa só foram acordar na reta final de jogo. Matheuzinho ia marcando um golaço, mas Léo Ortiz tirou a bola em cima da linha. Depois, Cebolinha parou duas vezes em Cleiton. Primeiro o atacante arriscou de longe e o goleiro espalmou. No lance seguinte, demonstrando reflexo, ao pegar a cabeçada do camisa 11.

Com medo de errar, as duas equipes voltaram para a segunda etapa cadenciando mais o jogo. Se fazendo valer pelo jogo aéreo, Léo Pereira quase deixou um gol de bicicleta. Na resposta, Sasha cabeceou no travessão e, no rebote, Hurtado isolou, perdendo uma grande chance. Com o ambiente favorável, o Flamengo abriu o placar, aos 29 minutos.
Pulgar serviu para Arrascaeta, que tirou da marcação e bateu de bico, no canto direito. A bola ainda bateu na trave e no Cleiton antes de entrar. Empolgados, Bruno Henrique e Ayrton Lucas quase ampliaram o marcador. Buscando a reação, a situação do Bragantino ficou complicada, quando aos 41 minutos, Thiago Borbas acabou sendo expulso. Com um a mais, o time carioca administrou o resultado até o apito final.
AGENDA
Quites com a tabela, na próxima rodada, o Red Bull Bragantino volta a campo no domingo, às 18h30, quando visita o Internacional, no Beira Rio, em Porto Alegre (RS). No mesmo dia e horário, o Flamengo encara o já rebaixado América-MG, no Parque do Sabiá, em Sete Lagoas (MG).
