Transações podem ser realizadas em qualquer horário e dia
A partir de terça-feira (14), todas as guias de impostos municipais poderão ser pagas via Pix. A Prefeitura de São Luís, por meio da Secretaria Municipal da Fazenda (Semfaz), segue em processo de modernização e agora o contribuinte pode efetuar o pagamento de tributos como ITBI, IPTU, ISS e outros, com o celular, pelo QR Code disponibilizado nas guias.
Para quitar os impostos via Pix, o contribuinte deve abrir o aplicativo do banco e apontar a câmera do celular para o QR Code disponível no boleto. “A Semfaz tem continuamente desenvolvido processos cada vez mais simples, automatizados e que exijam menos providências por parte dos contribuintes. A modalidade Pix é o novo canal oficial do Município para recebimento de tributos, com todos os requisitos de segurança devidamente atendidos”, garantiu o secretário Municipal da Fazenda, José Azzolini.
Antes da implantação definitiva da nova modalidade de pagamento de impostos municipais, vários testes foram promovidos para garantir a segurança de dados. A equipe da Superintendência de Informática da Semfaz foi responsável pelo trabalho de implantação da nova metodologia.
“A Semfaz vem investindo em tecnologia a fim de obter maior controle da arrecadação e melhorar os canais de atendimento ao contribuinte. O pagamento via Pix é uma realidade consolidada em todo o Brasil, e agora a gestão municipal está disponibilizando esta forma de pagamento para a população de São Luís”, disse a secretária adjunta de Gestão Tributária da Semfaz, Monique Bragança.
O pagamento via Pix tem diversos benefícios para o contribuinte, dentre eles, é importante destacar que as transações podem ser realizadas em qualquer horário e dia da semana; o banco reconhece o pagamento imediatamente; é um processo prático e célere e desburocratizado.
