Governador Valadares, MG, 18 (AFI) – O Cruzeiro segue a passos largos para garantir a classificação às semifinais do Campeonato Mineiro. Na noite deste domingo (18), em Governador Valadares, a Raposa bateu o Democrata no Mamudão por 3 a 1 e se manteve na ponta do Grupo A. A partida foi válida pela sexta rodada da competição estadual.
Com o resultado, o Cruzeiro chegou a 13 pontos e manteve a ponta da primeira chave, um ponto acima do Tombense e seis do Itabirito, primeiro time fora da zona classificatória, faltando nove em disputa. Além disso, a Raposa se recuperou no estadual, após perder por 2 a 0 para o América no meio de semana.
Do outro lado, o Democrata estacionou nos quatro pontos e se mantém na zona de rebaixamento e lanterna do Grupo C.
RAPOSA NA FRENTE
Sem tempo a perder e visando encaminhar a classificação à próxima fase, o Cruzeiro se lançou ao ataque desde o minuto inicial, mas sofreu um susto logo aos dois minutos. Pedro Oliveira cruzou rasteiro e Rafael vacilou na hora de encaixar a bola, que quase entrou no gol, mas foi recuperada.
Passado o susto inicial, a objetividade do time da capital foi matadora. Aos seis, William recebeu pela direita, tirou da marcação e cruzou na medida para Dinenno, que de cabeça, abriu o placar. Porém, não demorou muito para o Democrata responder. Aos 14, João Pedra recebeu livre, girou lançou para Pedro Oliveira, que chutou cruzado para empatar.
Após sofrer o gol, o Cruzeiro seguiu pressionando e quase fez o segundo com Arthur Gomes, aos 29, quando da entrada da área, chutou forte, para a defesa de Luís Augusto. E a pressão surtiu efeito. Aos 37, Arthur Gomes fez boa jogada e serviu Zé Ivaldo, que chutou forte para o fundo do gol.
Aos 45, a equipe de Belo Horizonte teve a chance de ampliar com Ian Lucas, que parou em linda defesa de Luís. O paredão do Democrata salvou mais uma aos 47, em tentativa de Ian. Assim, o jogo foi para o intervalo em 2 a 1 para o Cruzeiro.

Na volta para o segundo tempo, a vantagem quase foi ampliada novamente com João Pedro, que recebeu de Dinenno e buscou o ângulo, mas chutou para fora. Aos 17, William quase fez mais um, quando chutou colocado para mas uma ótima defesa de Luís.
Aos 27, o paredão do Democrata evitou mais um gol do Cruzeiro. Rafael Elias recebeu cruzamento de Arthur Gomes e cabeceou para o chão, mas viu Luís salvar com o pé. Aos 43, Arthur Gomes também parou no goleiro do Democrata, que pegou cobrança de falta venenosa.
Porém, o melhor jogador do time da casa na partida não conseguiu evitar o terceiro. Aos 50, Ramiro lançou Rafael Elias, que chutou forte e não deu chances para Luís, fechando o placar em 3 a 1 para o Cruzeiro.
PRÓXIMOS DESAFIOS
As equipes voltam a campo ainda nesta semana, mas em dias e competições diferentes. Na quarta-feira (21), o Cruzeiro vai até o Marizão para encarar o Sousa (PB), pela Primeira Fase da Copa do Brasil. No sábado (24), é a vez do Democrata encarar o Ipatinga, pela sétima rodada do Mineiro, no Ipatingão, a partir das 16h.
No dia seguinte, o Cruzeiro pega o Pouso Alegre, no Parque do Sabiá, às 11h, com possibilidade de classificação antecipada às semifinais.
OUTROS JOGOS
Ainda neste domingo, outros três jogos agitaram a rodada do Campeonato Mineiro. No Independência, América-MG e Vila Nova empataram em 0 a 0. Já no Ipatingão, o Uberlândia fez bonito e bateu o Ipatinga por 1 a 0. Pouco depois, em Tombos, a Tombense atropelou a Patrocinense, por 3 a 0.
