Não é preciso se deslocar às agencias da Sefaz para emissão do IPVA
Contribuintes do Imposto sobre Propriedade de Veículos Automotores que desejarem pagar em cota única o IPVA 2024, com desconto de 10%, têm até o dia o dia 29 de fevereiro para aderirem ao benefício.
O contribuinte não precisa se deslocar às agencias de atendimento da Sefaz para emissão do IPVA. A consulta dos valores por modelo de veículo pode ser feita na página do IPVA, no portal da Sefaz, clicando no menu “IPVA 2024/Débitos Anteriores”.
O pagamento do IPVA pode ser feito nos Bancos Caixa Econômica Federal, casas lotéricas, Bradesco, Banco do Brasil e seus respectivos correspondentes. Outra opção para os contribuintes é o pagamento do IPVA via PIX, pelo QR Code informado no Documento de Arrecadação (DARE) e também através da modalidade de pagamento via Cartão de Crédito, disponível através do Portal da Secretaria na opção de “Parcelamento de IPVA – Parcelamento com Cartão de Crédito”.
A Secretaria de Fazenda alerta os contribuintes para que fiquem atentos e não caiam em golpes, devendo acessar diretamente os sites oficiais da Sefaz-MA (portal.sefaz.ma.gov.br) e Detran-MA (http://www.detran.ma.gov.br/). Para consulta e emissão do DARE, o endereço oficial e válido é: https://ipva.sefaz.ma.gov.br/#/consulta-debitos.
Outra observação importante que o contribuinte deve ficar atento é quanto ao favorecido do pagamento, que deve ser a Secretaria de Estado da Fazenda do Maranhão.
Quem não optar pelo pagamento à vista com 10% de desconto tem a opção de parcelar o IPVA em até 3 cotas, sendo a primeira com vencimento no mês de março de acordo com o final da placa, ou pagar em cota única, porém sem desconto de 10%. As cotas devem ser quitadas em ordem crescente, de forma que o pagamento da segunda cota fique condicionado ao pagamento da primeira, e assim sucessivamente.
Caso haja atraso no pagamento das referidas cotas, estas poderão ser quitadas com acréscimo de multa e juros moratórios calculados a partir do vencimento das mesmas.
