Medida foi anunciada neste sábado pelo Ministro Flávio Dino
O ministro da Justiça e Segurança Pública (MJSP), Flávio Dino, anunciou na manhã deste sábado (18) a adoção imediata de providências em resposta às denúncias de vedação ou ausência de disponibilidade de água para os consumidores em shows, em meio à intensa onda de calor que assola o Brasil.
A medida está respaldada pelo Código de Defesa do Consumidor (CDC), que exige a garantia de serviços seguros e adequados à saúde. Nesse sentido,
Dino classificou como inaceitável que pessoas sofram, desmaiem ou até mesmo morram devido à falta de acesso à água em eventos públicos, referindo-se ao episódio que levou a morte de uma jovem nesta última sexta-feira (17), em show da cantora norte-americana Taylor Swift, no estádio Nilton Santos, o Engenhão, no Rio de Janeiro.
“Orientei o secretário nacional do Consumidor do MJSP, Wadih Damous, a adotar as providências cabíveis, ainda neste sábado (18), quanto às denúncias de vedação ou ausência de disponibilidade de água para os consumidores que foram ou irão a shows durante essa imensa onda de calor que o Brasil atravessa”, afirmou, que também postou a decisão de sua pasta.
Ele ainda destacou que essas medidas visam não apenas a prevenir problemas imediatos, mas também responsabilizar os envolvidos pelos danos já causados.
A Senacon será responsável por produzir a edição de normas emergenciais e notificações, acerca do acesso à água em shows e em outros espetáculos públicos, além de adotar medidas relativas à responsabilização por situações já ocorridas, em diálogo com os demais órgãos do Sistema Nacional do Consumidor.
